Eight-hour day combining Cape Range National Park sights, snorkeling and a Yardie Creek cruise, with lunch, snacks and photos. Only 6 reviews so far.
Overview
Exmouth Adventure Co squeezes the west side of the Cape Range into a single day: a stop at Osprey Bay, a cruise up Yardie Creek, and a chain of lookouts and stops in between. The whole thing runs about eight hours, door to door, with hotel pickup included and an air-conditioned vehicle doing the connecting kilometres. Lunch and snacks are part of the package, along with snorkel gear, entrance fees and photos your guide takes along the way.
The stops follow a set order. Charles Knife Canyon comes first, then Osprey Bay for an hour, then the Milyering Discovery Centre, Yardie Creek itself for an hour and a half, and finally the Vlamingh Head Lighthouse stop on the way back toward Exmouth.
It suits travellers who want a sampler of gorges, reef and creek without hiring their own vehicle or planning their own days. The cap is eight travellers, so it never becomes a coach outing. Note that it is not wheelchair accessible, and the day needs decent weather, so poor conditions can shift the date.

What To Expect From The Tour
A full day out with a lot of ground covered, so a little preparation goes a long way.
- What to bring. The listing is specific: enclosed footwear such as trainers or enclosed sandals, shorts and a t-shirt, plus a warmer layer in cooler months. It also suggests considering reef-safe sunscreen or zinc, along with a hat, sunglasses and a full water bottle, since drinking water is not supplied. Bathers and board shorts, a towel, and beach sandals for walking on sand round out the kit.
- Snorkelling. Snorkel equipment is included, as are flotation options. PFDs, which need to be requested at booking, and pool noodles are available for anyone who wants extra support in the water.
- Food and drink. Lunch and snacks are covered by the tour. Water is not, so arrive with a full bottle. Anyone needing personal medication during the day should carry it.
- Group size. The tour runs with a maximum of eight travellers. That keeps transfers simple and the day flexible for a small party.
- Fitness and access. The listing says most travellers can participate, but the tour is not wheelchair accessible. With a canyon lookout, a lighthouse stop and a creek cruise in one day, the day is split across several short stops rather than one long activity.
- Photos. Guide photos from the day are complimentary, so you do not need to bring a camera for the water portions. Still, the listing suggests bringing a phone or camera if you would like your own shots at the lookouts.
Common issues. A few practical limits are worth knowing before you book. The tour requires good weather, and it also needs a minimum number of travellers to run; if either forces a cancellation, you are offered a different date or a full refund. It is not wheelchair accessible, and you must bring your own drinking water and footwear. Cancelling inside 24 hours of the start time means no refund, and changes in that window are not accepted.
Choosing A Tour
Is pickup included?
Yes, hotel pickup is included and arranged as detailed at booking. The day runs about eight hours in total, travelling in an air-conditioned vehicle.
What is included in the price?
Lunch and snacks, snorkel equipment, all listed entrance fees, transport, hotel pickup, complimentary guide photos, and flotation devices such as a pool noodle or a PFD if you request one at booking.
Do I need to pay entrance fees separately?
No. Admission for Charles Knife Canyon, Osprey Bay, the Milyering Discovery Centre, Yardie Creek and Vlamingh Head Lighthouse is included. What is not included are personal items like food beyond what is provided, drinking water, footwear and clothing, so budget nothing for entry but bring your own water bottle.
